Pics from our Napa Trip...

IMG_6312 This is an '87 cab magnum that was just sitting in the closet (along with a few other bottles of wine) of the Aunt's condo where we stayed.

IMG_6323 A huge cluster of trees we discovered while out exploring.  I'm striking that pose becuase a bee was buzzing my legs.

Okay, I have an idea for a great reality TV show.  During the girls' nap the other day I decided to catch some food channel network cooking.  I watched the Barefoot Contessa drive her BMW to the butcher and then to the bakery and make this beautiful meal with ease and elegance.  I couldn't help but laugh when I turned off the TV to go cook up our dinner.  I started day-dreaming that I had an audience that cared to see how I cooked our dinner, but it wasn't half as elegant.  The kitchen was a mess.  The girls were up from their nap.  Snotty Kate was clinging to my legs, crying and crawling between them.  Riley and Claire were screaming in the other room over some toys and then they each came to tell me their side of the story.  All the while I was trying to picture myself doing a cooking show, pounding out my chicken breasts, sauteing the onions, explaining to my audience the why and what of the process.  Then it hit me.  Why hasn't anyone done this before?  What about a cooking show with a little more reality?  Wouldn't you want to watch that show?  Kids screaming, mom cooking...and occasionally screaming.  I'd watch that show.
